Directors
Managing Director – Bill Catalano
Bill is one of the founding directors of Catalano’s and has in excess of half a century of experience in transport and earthmoving. Bill has boundless energy and commitment to what he does and provides strong leadership and strategic direction to the company.
Director/Secretary – Clem Catalano
Having commenced with the company in 1977 Clem has acquired extensive experience in the transport and material supply side of the business. He has a wealth of contacts across the industry and can draw upon these to complete any project.
Director – Stephen Catalano
Steve commenced with the company in 1980 and has many years of experience in the earthmoving and civil contracting side of the business and also takes a keen interest in the maintenance aspects of the business. He too has a wealth of contacts upon which to draw to complete any project.

General Manager – Nunzio Giunta

HR & HSE Manager - Doriann Walls
Doriann commenced with the Company in May 2006. With experience in both operational and corporate roles in HR, Safety and Training she is committed to a fair and equitable approach to the management of Human Resources; aiming to maximise individual effectiveness and potential, and ultimately, Company effectiveness and efficiency.
Chief Financial Officer – Cameron Hotchin, FCPA
Cameron commenced employment with the company in early 2007 and has more than 20 years experience in Accounting and Finance. Cameron has been employed in numerous management and senior accounting roles within the Manufacturing, Mining and Financial Services industries and is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.
State Manager, Transport & Materials – Bill Perry
Bill joined the company in December 2009 and has extensive experience in providing transport and related mining services to industry. He is very commercially astute and holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management. Through his many years within the industry Bill has developed an ability to identify, analyse and realise commercial opportunities. He is also committed to customer consultation and directs projects from concept through to full operational status to ensure results are in line with customer expectations.
Project Manager – George Wilson
George commenced employment with the company in early 2003 as Project Manager overseeing the Worsley BRDA construction program. He is a qualified civil engineer and has extensive civil construction and mining experience gained over many years within the industry both in Australia and abroad. He is customer focused and fully committed to delivering projects on time and within budget.
Project Manager – Joe Steinbacher
Joe joined the company in January 2009. Qualified in Mining Engineering and having 23 years experience in various hands on, technical, supervisory and management roles within the earthmoving civil construction and mining industry, Joe is able to draw on this knowledge to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
Plant and Asset Manager – Richard Panizza
Joining the company in 1982, Richard has over thirty-five years experience in operating and repairing equipment. His role is to ensure all assets are maintained to a level that meets the companies’ high standards and within budgetary constraints, enabling clients to be provided with a value for money, safe efficient service.
